Forward in Motion: Stories of Impact & Inspiration

March of Dimes Event & Fundraiser Participation

At A.N.G.E.L. Forward Group, we believe in uplifting our community through service, advocacy, and heartfelt action. One of our proudest recent accomplishments was participating in the March of Dimes Event and Fundraiser, a cause that aligns deeply with our mission to support healthy beginnings and strong futures for every child.

💜 Why We Walked

The March of Dimes fights for the health of all moms and babies by advocating for policies that support maternal care, funding life-saving research, and providing vital resources to families during pregnancy and beyond. We were honored to stand alongside families, healthcare professionals, and fellow advocates who share this powerful commitment. Our participation wasn’t just about walking, it was about taking meaningful action for those who often face preventable challenges during childbirth and early childhood. From the moment we stepped onto the path, our team brought energy, compassion, and an unshakable sense of purpose. United in purple, we marched not only in solidarity but as a symbol of hope, resilience, and community-driven change.

📸 A Day to Remember

“Seeing the turnout and the shared commitment to healthier futures brought tears to my eyes. We were walking for something bigger than ourselves.”

The energy of the day was electric, from the first moment our team gathered in matching shirts to the final steps across the finish line. The crowd was filled with families, advocates, survivors, and supporters, each with a personal reason for walking. Laughter, tears, hugs, and high-fives marked our journey through the park, reminding us why this cause matters so deeply.

The Impact

Our involvement helped amplify the voices of mothers and babies in need. It also strengthened our partnerships and introduced our mission to new supporters across the region. It’s a powerful reminder that when we show up together, we can move mountains. This experience reaffirmed our belief that community action is one of the most powerful tools for lasting change.
